With LC’s help I’m finally on live.
Anyway, waiting on something other than the non-typical that’s been showing up the last two nights.
Hoping to see one of the good 8pts that are around.

Congrats on the buck Tony. I didn’t make it out this morning. Have some stuff going on at work that had me up all night. I’m up where I wanted to be this morning. Another small scrape is next to my mock. I’ll be pulling the 2 cameras I put in here on the way out. If the deer I’m hunting is bedding behind me I’m wasting my time. I have not figured out what direction he is coming from. Good luck pm shift.

You are correct small price to pay while the kids are young and in my home. But I will not being missing anymore October cold fronts once they are grown. If I do my job right, hopefully neither will they.

I guess I will have to settle for watching the Blue Jay in the World Series tonight. Last time they were there, I was 10.

My buck story is on team 8 thread if anyone cares to read. Thanks for all of the congrats. I'm currently on a 24-hour shift. After that, I don't work until November 14th!! I already have a new target buck that showed up this morning.

    Good luck night shift!

Just had a deer go by about 40 yards out. On the other side of a blow down and couldn't get a good look. Then spotted it about 60 yards out, looked to be a decent buck.

Let out a couple soft grunts, lets see if he circles around.

This is my best set up this year. Never hunted anywhere near here before. Already jumped what I think was a buck. I don't think he saw or smelled me. Leaves are loud. Found his bed for the day. I also got close to shooting a turkey. Got within 40 yds. Big buck sign and scrapes up here. 4 hrs to go...

Buck bed...kind of hard to see but its several feet long.

I'm up, grandsons are in the double stand I killed the doe from. Saw my first buck this season, a ltlle 6 point. I'm hoping it's a good sign they may be moving before it gets dark. That's the first deer I've even saw since I got that doe.

I’m up. Hunting a really steep bluff gap on public. This about the only spot where the deer can get to the hardwoods coming out of a pine thicket. Few years ago I had a couple of good bucks using this gap. It’s hot with rain showers moving in around 6:30

Congrats Tony, how far from the shot was the driveway? Just curious.

    Needing blood.

My thoughts on it as well. Oh well, my woods will get a break for the weekend and I'll be back to it Monday.
