Been in a while, just legal light. Birds waking up and the heated vest feels great! Very dry and crunchy. Light breeze.
Settled in stand about 10 mins later than I wanted. 20 mins until first light. Crisp 33 degrees this morning. Leaves fallen all around me. Good luck whoever is out
I heard deer moving all around me 20 minutes before daylight. Right at daylight I saw a doe and fawn. I must be surrounded by turkeys. They are waking up and cutting. I’ve even heard some gobbles. God is good! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m up, had to pick a cherry tree. Sounded like I was opening 20 bags of Doritos hahaha. I have deer around me now so it must not have made a big impact. Made me cringe every strap I set. It was the right tree with excellent back cover. Good luck everyone !
I’m set up. It’s raining lightly. Fortunately I have my umbrella with me. Greg woke up feeling poorly so he went back to bed. Maybe something will move in this light rain or after it stops.
Just got notice from the camera that is right by the stand I'm in. There was a small 8 four minutes before I got in here. I imagine with how dry it is he heard me coming in Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
Rain stopped. Heard grunt to my lft. Then saw movement 30 Yrds to my front rt.no flash of white. It could have been a yote. Lots of song birds, jays, cardinal and bunting.
I just shot at a buck…. He kicked and then ran in a circle and stopped. I thought he was gonna go down. I’m not sure if he did. Weird that he stopped Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
2 does and a fawn came by at 45 yards. Turkeys are starting to come down off their roost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did you see where you hit it? Hopefully he laid down where you last seen him. Good luck on recovery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good luck Tony! Having a wild morning, just passed a buck I prob will regret haha. Came in dogging a doe, made a rub and worked a scrape. Just had a spike come through being frisky chasing around 5 doe.
Good luck Tony! First sub 30* morning. Calm winds. There was a little 8 here when I pulled in. What a gorgeous morning. Thank you Lord!
I just had a 5 point come by at 20 yards. Now I just need his grandfather to follow him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No, 40 yards in a small window. I scared the **** out of him and he walked straight in a line of trees that I cannot see beyond or he’s lying near where I last saw him Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
