I had a great evening hunt! I had that same non-typical come out at almost the same time as last night feeding within 10 yrds of me again tonight. I couldn't believe it! He didn't bed this time, which I was happy about, I like a buck I'm not going to shoot to leave the area none the wiser to my presence.
I also saw 6 doe at different times who apparently were not in heat, or this buck would have been hounding them, I guess.

This is the first time since I've been hunting (50 years) that I let a legal buck walk two nights in a row, let alone the same buck! His head is hidden behind the tree in this pic. I got really good video of him again like last night. Very excited for the coming two weeks!! :tu:

    Tried posting this earlier...

Saw 15-20 deer. The only 4 I could shoot were all unaccompanied fawns. Two little bucks were close, but couldn't have shot....wouldn't have either. At least 5 little bucks awfully excited and thinking with their pencils.

Good bet that I get a shot, or 3, this weekend!

    Let's go LFTS.:deer:

Congratulations on a great buck @ShoeLick

Another long day for both sides of the family tomorrow, as we lay my BIL to rest. Hopefully some tree stand therapy to come Sunday morning and evening.

    Goodluck out there tomorrow everyone!

Coffee is brewing and I am about to head south! First sit down here since opening weekend. I’ve got a giant (atleast to me) daylighting now that the corn around the farm has come out… hoping this big boy pays another visit to the mock scrape this morning. Good luck out there killers!

Food, coffee and I’m somewhat alive. Not sure I can do an all day sit, back feels 50% better.

The weather is supposed to be cold with a good wind. 36 now. And I’ve let this area sit for 2 weeks.

Just need the deer to be moving, not see me, have opportunity, make a good shot and avoid oak and hickory trees.

    Let’s do it!

Coffee going down. It’s 30 degrees and calm. It’s going to be a great day to be in the woods. Good luck everyone.

All set up in Maryland… man I love this set up, I’m only about twenty or so yards inside the woods off the property owners yard. Mock scrape below me at twenty six yards where the big buck was yesterday. Wind is perfect for me, but also perfect for deer using this travel corridor!! Good luck everyone beautiful morning out here
