    Well this sucks, shot must have been lower than I thought. Good blood to begin with but then slowly stopped. She was 23 yds broadside with a pass through. I’m puzzled and pissed at the same time

    I just got back from looking. The blood stopped at about 350-400 yds. I went two different directions after I lost it and grid searched but didn’t find anything more. I’m pretty darn sure that she will live. Either way it sucks but it happens to all of us, just been a while since it has happened to me.

    Yep, been there done that. For me it's probably been 6 years or more since I've lost one. Get back at it!

    It opened up and poured on me. I climbed down at 1100 and the only deer I saw was the one I kicked out when I was walking in.

    I’ll be back out on Saturday hopefully

    Been a long time since I couldn't recover a deer, but I've had it happen enough times in the past. It's a very deflating feeling.
