I’m jealous of all you guys tht made it to your stands on time. I drove 45 minutes just to realize I forgot boots. I’m gonna still hunt my way in at day break and hopefully be set up by 830

Question for you all. Has anyone ever heard a buck rubbing a tree? Yesterday as I sat in the stand, I started hearing this scraping noise about 30yds off in a thick area that I can't see through. I kept listening and it was kind of intermittent. This went on for about two minutes and I decided I would use the grunt call. As soon as I did that, the noise stopped and I didnt hear it again. It was just an intermittent scraping sound that would go on for a few seconds then it would stop and start again. Thoughts?

I heard a sound once that sounded like someone using a hand saw to cut a tree and assumed that’s what it was.

It wasn't that deliberate or rhythmic like a saw would be. Besides I'm on private property and I know no one else was around.

I’m back out. 40 degrees and winds out of the south west 11mph.
It has stormed the past day and half.

    raining now. Off and on.

quiet even the squirrels have snuck up on me.

I bumped a deer on my walk in. One lone deer. Only saw the white flag.

    good luck everyone

hey LC , I’d be tired too if I lugged that tv in with all the time.
Rest up bud. It’s coming your way.

Just had a momma and two younguns ready to cross the fence and come on my side. But for some reason momma changed her mind and walked on down the fencerow. Earlier I had an unknown suspect behind me but it went off in the other direction. That's been my morning so far
