This was in front of one of my stands on the other side of the property about 10 minutes ago. At least things are starting to move a little.[IMG]

What a morning. Just had a bobcat come through and a doe chase him down blowing at him.

I waited until 9:30 because I could hear rustlings waited and waited but nothing showed. Packed up, re-fixed the bow again. My morning fall broke the ring. Surprised it didn't break the scope for that is what it landed on 3ft away. My after hunt release shows alls AOK.
So open blind door and look over garden fence to see a flag..lol It or they were eating chestnuts on the long garden stretch of clover plot.
That fall , TG I had on 3 layers was a direct hit to both knees and both hands. My 2 worses areas. Well dang if my walk home wasn't rather comfortable as far as, even usual pain. The hands are pretty darn sore. So left shoulder took a good hit and is sore and both knees are sore to touch and blk and blue. Yeppers a pole tree had just enough of its top land into the drive to catch my rt boot toe. I was going at a good clip at the time.
Errands have to be done after...a hot soak in tub.

Cool temps and good wind direction, for me, are in the forecast for tomorrow & Sat. And have given my property a couple weeks without any pressure.

Yesterday I also made the executive decision ‘I will be sick’ (gotta burn my hours that won’t carry over) at least a half day, every Friday of November…

Just had a really good buck at about 60yds. He stood there for a while and ended up going back the same way he came from. Things are definitely starting to happen

Got a unknown in the bedding thicket to my west. Seen movement and finally found the source. Looks like it's bedded upwind about 45 yards away.

Thank you Holt, I do appreciate your advice, it makes a lot of sense. I'm going to point my cam at the stand to see the results. I did get this non-typical come right past that stand yesterday morning at 8:17am, with a smaller buck behind him.

I'll put my cart & sled in the back of the truck this weekend and finish getting the rest of the gear set to go, shoot the bow some more ... maybe I'll go steelhead/salmon fishing this Sat. to bide my time .. Ha! Definitely not, especially since I never eat anything on stand unless I’m doing an all day sit and sometimes not even then.

That umbrella would have been nice yesterday though.
