Just spent the last 10 minutes in a stare-down with a big old nanny. She would start to leave and then turn around come back for more staring. She finally left for good.......I think

In a stand at the SE corner of our old property facing 2 intersecting large trials
I've got a power company right of way clear out off my right, last time they cleared it out we planted clover in it so its a mix of clover an pretty tall natural grasses. 50 yards straight ahead is where our timber intersects with 2 tillabe fields.
    1. Corn already harvested
    2. Worst looking standing corn ive seen in a while

Normally see movement here but can.be frustrating getting stuff in range.

Its a beautiful 35 degrees, fingers crossed.

How in the world do you folks sit in a lock on stand? Compared to this my Viper with a Hazmore seat is like a nice recliner.

This is like having to sit up straight for a photo shoot for four hours. Either that or you stand up the entire time.

This is why I love the saddle harness to use with a lock on or hang on. Just spin around and face the tree, stretch your legs, and take the pressure of your back.

I've been wanting to switch over to a harness, haven't been able to justify the expense yet though.

All settled in. Been here since 8 am. Waited till light to walk in so I didn't trip and fall. My view this morning. Community scrape 15 yards to my left. It's gonna be up close and personal if it happens. Damn it feels good to be hunting!

Nothing in the first hour. Probably will sit until about 11. Then go check another camera.

Really helps with stretching and taking the pressure off your lower back. Back is sore today bc I lost my tether for the last two hunts. Haha. New one just arrived.
