    Just got home, couldn’t update, was covered up in deer. Ended up seeing my target buck across the field. He didn’t come my way but i know where be is bedding for sure now. Just a matter of time it will happen!

    I’m up, showered and having coffee. Still have almost an hour before we need to head out.

    I need time in the morning now, unlike when I was younger.

    I want you to be successful at shooting that buck, but i disagree with your statement about your stand. And the proof is in what you said. Leaving that stand is leaving your scent. Scent stays on that thing for weeks. And every time you hunt, it just multiplies. The proof is that you have seen zero deer, and all buck pics are at night. That won't change and only gets worse. You really should abandon that spot and hunt somewhere new. Camera can have the same effect. The deer know how to avoid them in daylight and walk around them. They feel secure in the cover of darkness.

    Just for an experiment, you should put a camera pointed at your climber. Just see how many deer come up and sniff it at night. Might shock you.

    This post was just me trying to motivate you to move around and enjoy the chase. I would love nothing more than see you get that buck.

    I am and I am in a tree this morning.

    Deer have been hammeringthese whiteoaks the last few days. A few does the last couple of mornings and a nice 8 point yesterday evening. Just need them to show. About 25 minutes until legal.

    May shoot anything above a spike I took Pretty rough face plant on the way in. Just starting g to feel it now
