I went out this morning to hit road and clearly feel they were wrong on the wind. So went to the garden blind 7:05 Got a visitor. Reached for my phone, nope no phone. again on the kitchen counter. Any whooo it was a out to ears 6pt. Lots of shot ops but not what I'm looking for. Then 15 mins later after he leaves in came a nice lone doe. I have no doe tags for here until Nov. 1. If I did Id have thought on it. I do need some time at camp for I do have a tag for there 8x.
After 8 I went down the rabbit hole which got me back home at 2:30. I went to check debris on trails. Bad just bad bad with 3 trails out of commision completely. So that was the bad news.

The good news I know where I have to be from now on. A 1/4 mile square on our place that at the last count has 33 fresh rubs on various sized trees and 2 fresh scrapes one older one. In this I have a tower blind and 2 ladderstands that have rubs 3 ft from them. One with rubs all around it and a fresh scrape 25 yrds in front of it. Lol I just fell asleep typing that...any ways to that, I'll let settle down tonight, Beside I'm exausted and hunt in the morning.
    Luck tonite guys

I’m up and in. Cell service is terrible won’t allow any pics to load. My mock scrape and licking rope got wiped out by a dead tree. Sitting on a little funnel on private bordering public.

Oh forgot, found a cam I totally forgot about, dang if it wasn't still working. I can't even remember when I put it out there...1-2yrs ago? I could see it had pics but not many and washed out in color. I reset and left it. I'll take out new batteries and do a card switch next time I hunt it. Really, batteries were still working!!!???

Twice now on this sit I've heard what sounds like sparring to my east, while typing heard it again. Thinking some younger bucks are around

Well, I’m set up in another new spot.

The last one looked good but nothing moved. I’m sure it’ll be good at some point.

Greg saw three does yesterday evening and 20 minutes before dark the & point came in behind him behind cover and fed. By the time he was clear it was too dark to shoot. The buck finally got downwind in the dark and lit out.

Greg was a little upset. ;lol:
