Could that be a silver fox? I've never seen one.

The wind is why I'm not hunting. We're getting some strong winds today, some gusts of 30mph. The last week of Oct and first week of Nov are the two weeks I really look forward to! :tu:

I am set up in yet another brand new spot. In fact this is pretty much a new ridge.

Greg and I have been busy today. We hung two lock on sets in what I know to be good places and we found new spots to sit this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

This spot that I’m in is another great looking one with good sign and good terrain.

Brett and DeezNoodles - great shots on a marvelous Monday!

    Sat down at 5

Sitting 350 south of yesterday's tree. Unlikely they'll do what they did yesterday....probably by the tree in was in yesterday.

October 20th....let the blood continue to spill!

Has a fawn and little buck come out for a bit.

The fawn stomped at something and returned to the woods; little buck followed.

    Good they were nearby.

I’ve said before that I climb with my bow in my Third Hand bow holder.

Well, I climbed all the way up (25 feet) cinched in, put my hooks in the tree and went to nock an arrow and put my quiver on its hook and…..no bow.

I looked down and there it is still on the ground.

I’m cooled back off now but sheesh.

I think we were just talking about having to climb backdown after we dropped something. At least you didn't drop it. Might have to look into one of those hook and string things.

I’m in the blind again. Wind was wrong this morning and sure enough the deer came through…. The wind has shifted but has picked up a bit but this is the best of the next couple of days since the wind machine is going to crank up. Good luck everyone

Glad I didn't go out. Had to call NYSEG. 20 Yrds up from end of drive the neighbor has a dead red pine that fell across all the power lines. All the ppl that drive up this road non stop...We were the only ones to call. Hes still out there.
Kudos to them they were out here within 20 mins. Though the jobs too big and he's waiting for another truck.
Can I even state how sick I am of F ing dead trees!!!!!!

It sounds like you have them come down pretty regularly. But, I'd be okay with that living where you live. Think how nice it is being far away from the masses. You're fortunate!
