Ibuprofen (or a few Busch Lights)…maybe a bulging disk, but something to relax the muscle may allow it to return to normal. I effectively get to live that dream every day with degenerative disks.
Rain is letting up a bit. Just i time for a major wi nd shift from WSW to hard NW. Howling up over the ridge. Gosh I am proud of this blind build.. 14 solid hrs of rain, in a low spot and built on the ground. Wood , cardboard and tarps with rubber roof. Tarp, underlayment and fake grass rug. Dry as a bone inside.

Just before light had a lone doe right below me, she meandered across the plot and away. Cam got her so I know it was a doe. Right at legal light got winded by a doe and her twins, they came up this draw and circled downwind as they approached the plot and 3 days of no showers got me busted. Had bow in hand, too. Was just waiting for her to get broadside to draw. Going to give it 2 more hours then head home, will be in a tree again come Friday, this time in MI. I might hit Willow Slough in Indiana mid week in the evenings. Joliet Arsenal is closed until the G shutdown ends, so there goes that as my only 'local' option.
Ok a change was happening so pulled radar.orange and yellow are about on me with 18mph sustained winds.headed out before I get stuck in that.
