Cloud cover rolling in, shouldn’t have any rain until midnight. Hopefully the pressure is going to get them up and moving

I could have used that, mines at home. Wonder how that buck would have reacted to some grunts.

I’m in the blind again, I will be very surprised if I see anything tonight with all the people out in the neighborhood making a bunch of noise. But weird things happen right. Good luck everyone

    I like guns.
    I like shooting guns.
I have never in my life thought "hey, it's 5:15pm, I'm gonna step outside my back door and rip off 100+ rounds in random bursts."

Apparently, it's just what people do north of 43°

Ended up being a good hunt tonight stalking that buck even though no shot was taken. Going to have a couple pops now and see if the Rangers can score more than 1 goal. Alarm will be set for 4am and if it’s not a down pour I’ll be out in the morning.

No luck this evening, but all the traffic I saw was 70yards deeper in woods. Rain and cool weather is on the way overnight. I’ll hunt until noon tomorrow morning if I need too.

Quiet in here. Im downing coffee and headed in to a preset stand till the wind and rain hit. Maybe ill get lucky on this lower travel route. Right between 2 drainage, so effectively 2 funnels.

    Only after bucks.

    Good luck!

BTW, good to see @dnoodles doing his thing again in LFTS world. Never a dull moment.

Apparently the northward march of the armadillo has progressed into the hills of W NC. 2 came by my stand in the dark. Never seen one here. Ever.

Goodluck out there killers, I’ll be out tomorrow evening for a quick after work sit. Been having some awesome camera activity in the evenings on this permit piece. Hoping to capitalize as evenings don’t work the best for the family, but the wife gave me a green light to give it a go!
