I’ve never ruined a good suit but I have trashed a couple of Dress White uniforms on liberty overseas.

Seems I tend to get my shirts ripped open or if it’s a long sleeve, the sleeve is coming straight off.

That's a good buck! Cooler temps and he would have been moving earlier. Just a matter of time.

He’s definitely good enough for me. I know lots of folks on here wouldn’t take their bow off the hanger for him, but I’d shoot.

You’re right. It’s going to change very soon.

Ain’t no damn way I’ll make it out Sunday morning. I don’t morning hunt until around Halloween anyway on my property. Very tough for me to get in without blowing a ton of deer off fields (unless I’m going to my deep swamp stand which like to leave alone as much as possible). Hunting 47 acres (that’s long and narrow running north/south) is tough.

Had 1 doe beyond me appx 1 hour before dark that I didn't really want to shoot at the moment, then right at dark had 3 more come into food plot right in front of me, I hooked up, pins were 100% visible, and thinking closest was a slam dunk, got excited then it turned hard 1/4 away and I decided I wanted to be 100% sure it was a doe and not spike, lit it up w/my headlight and yup, huge doe, shut it off and re-hooked up and then thought-

"If you have to shine it to see what it is, then you can't be shooting it."

Put the bow on the hook, I coyote yelped, spooked them off, and climbed down.

    See ya'll in the morning

Congratulations on the doe @Suncrest08 !

Finally back up a tree! If a doe gives me an opportunity I may take it, but I’ve got 2 really good bucks working this area so I may hold off this morning. Quite breezy this morning I really wish this tree was just a little bit bigger!

    Good luck killers!

Bumped a little buck off the plot coming in. Rained last night but still now, just hear the drops from the leaves. Muggy and Foggy. Seems like a good morning to

Hoping this hard rain keeps the criminals out of the store today. I need meditation time at work to dream about deer.
