Just had a deer at 50 feeding around. Believe it was a doe fawn. Too thick to get a good look but seemed small. Guessing she came back the way she came.

First sit of the season on this property!

Notice the harness - hope you're all wearing one.

    Congratulations Sunny!

DeezNoodles - good luck with the hat. 1000014889.jpg

This morning I turned my stand 180 degrees because almost all of the deer walked somewhat behind me.

It’s a good looking spot but it feels so open after what I’ve been hunting in.

My son Greg and his “turtle”.

He said he had to lead it a bit because it was really moving.

    upload_2025-10-17_16-45-46.jpeg

No, he didn’t shoot it. For some reason he likes to take pics when he comes across them. It must be an Air Force thing.

Small buck gave me a brief glimpse at 50 yds. Walked away. I’m not too picky tonight. No fawns though

I’m in the blind, windy and a bit warmer today. But the wind is in my favor so here we go. Good luck everyone!

No bucks for me tonight, kept it quite on here to help my ju ju. Didn’t work, was a fun sit. Yearlings running around the property were fun to watch.

I'm trying like hell just to get a few days off around Halloween, be lucky to make it happen.
Ya know, I have about 1.5 years before I retire. I made a vow to work my azz off until then, everything else on the back burner.
I finally have a little cabin in the woods, and I've been there 3 times this year for a long weekend.
I know the time will go quick, and soon I'll be in a tree every day, fishing all summer. At least that's what I keep telling myself :bigcry:

Right at dark I went to pen up the turkey. They are behind the old dog barn and that is 5 ft. behind the garage. I get to the run gate and hear snort snort!!
60yrds away just on the edge of hedge row is a group of deer...flags up and off they went.

We didn’t see a deer. I believe they moved later tonight. Stupid warm weather is hard to deal with. That will change soon.

Walking out we walked by my camera about 7:10 and this one walked by it at 7:19.
