Should find out Monday if I got drawn for the lake area archery hunts. I'm doubting I get drawn as they weight itn n favor of the previous years successful applicants. They say they don't, but from what I have witnessed it is obviously the case. I understand it as the goal is to reduce the deer in these areas. Either way, still that chance I luck out and get drawn the hard way.
Thats awesome. I may want to live in ND or SD one day. Seems like great outdoors places and not a lot of urban crap.
A ton of nothing that somehow grows big deer. Not even sure where we are going yet. I met 2 farmers out there 3 years ago with 1000+ acres that I have access to… but it’s mainly just fields with wind row strips. We have a spot that’s bordering Canada on public that had oaks dropping where we had chances at 2 really big bucks 2 years ago. Went there last year and there were cows in it. Yep. I’m hoping three more sign up today just to save me a little trouble, but it’ll be easy to take care of if they don’t. Today I start helping a new neighbor frame his house, so I’m going to be busy. Problem is we had a work party at our Arkansas cabin Friday and Saturday and I’m already so sore it hurts to walk. It’s going to be a fun day!
It's even worse now, and to compound issues I'm coming down with some respiratory crud. It's starting at the back of my sinus like it always does. I will do my best to help my neighbor finish framing tomorrow.

Man this is gonna sound weird but many years ago and for many years, I had sinus crap. I started rinsing out my nose after mowing the grass or if I worked in the attic, basement, or wherever there is nasty crap. Simply pull a little water into your nostrils and shoot it out. Sounds wild I know...seems to work for me.
