Loaded me and a buddy up today with about 40 milk weed pods. They are everywhere in Missouri!

Just got back from vacation last week and now I’m ready to be in the woods (far from prepared though) heading down to MD this weekend to hang sets on the private land and respray the weeded plot, we are going to have to wait to plant it since it’s not looking good for rain. Then planning on bumping over to Public land to do some scouting for opening day! Count down is [emoji6] days!!

Fairly normal. More work then i can handle, way behind on shooting my bow. Rain just wont quit all summer.

Was out on some public last night and bet i saw over 50 deer. This little cold front had them out in the fields early. Getting excited for the season.

I'm hoping to make a trip up to the shore this October, not sure how it will all play out but I'll definitely let you know if I do. I miss the marsh.

Clearing out all my trail cams. Had two cams out on an island for 6 months. Well a work crew took another one and then cut a tree down with my other camera. Today all I could do was laugh after paddling and walking for miles. Trail cam free season is coming.

Not from a stand but took binoculars out when doing the chickens night run. They have been giving me a hard time so I quietly sat to watch the field. I spotted 2 doe and fawn then looked out to far corner to see...
6 HOLY CRAP bucks and out of that 6 , 3 were Crap my pants, BIG!! LOL. . Four 8pts. and two 10 pts.
I was just thrilled to see doe and fawn on us . Those bucks were just a sight to see.

I am soooo far behind on shooting this season. Less than a month from the opener and I only shot once and it was June. My SpottHog broke and I bought a new Garmin but haven't even put it on yet.

Gonna try to get out Sunday.

good group, but can you do it again, and again, and again, and (right now, I cant)....
I was waaay ahead in shooting, tuning/BH's and clothes being ready, etc. ... opener sq. season came and went Aug. 15, usually starts my preseason stand tree location walk by's while sq. hunting .... since my season is up in the air, my gumption has left me .... I'll continue to shoot a few days a week and will finalize my BH/FP's to at least 30 yds (for now)... I always shoot fp's in the house to keep form/strength up ... I'm climbing the walls (instead of tree's) ... something about the best laid plans 'oft go astray (something like that) ..

I was out moving some cameras and picked up a pair of sheds. A little crewed up but not bad. I rarely find sheds.

Here's one I'm after this season. Pretty wide. Hope he comes by when it counts!
