I’m up a tree in a new spot for the pm sit.

My son got here Sunday afternoon. We had a lot to get done so we didn’t get out this morning.

The game is on now though.

It’s 80 degrees here. There is almost zero wind and it’s humid. It’s a good thing it’s cloudy right now or we would be miserable.

Jumped a few doe groups. Good to know they are in here when the fun stuff starts.

Had some deer blow at me this morning cause the wind was too calm and pulling the wrong way. But a flock a turkeys gave me a show clucking and yelping.

I’m back on the grind tonight but my wind is 50/50. Hoping it stays east of one comes in

That sounds crappy. It’s sunny and 56 here with a NW wind at 7

Does came in behind me to 15 yards but I had no shot. Too thick. I never heard them leave.

I can’t catch a break. Seen a nice doe coming so I stood up when she got behind a tree. Little did I know that was the back doe and another one was already at 20 yards. She caught me and boogered out of there. Literally just sat down like 10 minutes ago too lol

As soon as I text the last message and put phone away there they were a Doe and a fawn to the north of me and that my way out also.
70 yards. At 7 they disappeared.

    704 was quitting time

Saw 2 and got out clean. Phone was in my pocket and I was on edge for the last 45 minutes. Every day it’s going to get a little bit better.

I waited until I got home to update. I didn’t hear them leave because they never did.

About 30 minutes before dark I heard a strange sound behind me. Then I heard them headed away from me.

At least they never knew I was there.
