Been set up for about a half hour. Sitting the ground blind with Sara. She's looking for her first deer. We are set up watching an old logging road. We have daylight pics of bear, turkeys and Does.

    I'm up, spotty signal.
Good spot w the wind and acorns but Fng hell my cousin hung this stand on the wrong side of the tree. It's leaning forward and wide open towards the direct the deer usually come in from.

I'm going to take one of my hang ons tomorrow and hang it on the opposite side of this same tree just to prove a point for when he's up here next week and I'm over in WI.

He must've been high when he hung this thing. I didn't know the exact set up, he just sent me a pin and I knew the area and its good for a S/SE wind. Was running behind and didn't have time to bounce to another area

Had this little buck come in. All of a sudden he starts blowing short blasts od air out his nose and pawing his nose like crazy. Eventually he ran 80 yards, shaking his head, and kept blowing. Guessing a big went up there. Maybe a bee. Maybe a gnat that bites and spreads ehd!

    Ps
    In 1000014827.jpg Michigan i regularly see 1.5 yo 8s.

1 acorn heard falling every 3 mins = 20 acorns per hour

    24 hrs/ day x 20 = 480 acorns per day

    7 days/wk x 480 acorns per day = 3360 acorns per week

    3360 acorns this week = 0 deer.

    These deers math ain't mathin.
