I hope the neighbor gives you permission to track, it's the right thing to do.

Good luck! Hopefully you get permission. Sounds like it will be a dead deer!

Nothing seen after the 8 point around 7:4. Got down at 10 am and did a litte scouting with @Jezzy670. Back home now, going to take my wife out with the crossbow tonight to see if she can get her first deer,

Well she made it through that property she is on a hard no property now no hunting no looking I’m so bummed right now thought for sure she wasn’t going to make it a hundred yards when she ran off shot looked good but I hit some thing that stopped the arrow first time since I’ve been shooting these Magnus stingers just confused and really disappointed

I think I have a plan for the evening. I can’t go where I want due to the wind direction. There’s a little out building next to the big barn I have circled in red I’m going to set in there. One other time I tried it I dosed off and when I opened the eyes the deer were past me. Rained has moved up to 6pm so I hope they come out to feed before. Anything is on the menu. 018B864A-271E-412E-BCD8-F47FC2C9F441.jpeg

You had good blood, you did what you could. As all us bow hunters know, eventually these things happen. Get back out there and you'll be alright!

Ah sorry to hear about her crossing onto a no go property. That sucks when it happens but you did all you can to get her! Get back out there and put one down!

Im back home. What a great trip. Saw so many sika. If I had to guess about 20 went by this morning alone. They just wont leave that frag. Also had at least 6 stags come thru bugling. The marsh is complete Hell, but also magical.

I have never hunted a place this hard to hunt. Just so much water. If i stayed 1 more day, i would have shot one. I got it figured out and did some scouting on the way out.

Of course you see them all over the roads when driving. 20251010_105546.jpg

Just had a little 7 point come by at 45 yards. That’s a good sign.
