Already had one walk up in the frag at 20 yards, couldn't see it. And just heard one bugle about 100 plus yards away. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I've always wondered, are those native to Maryland or were they transplanted at some point? Sent from my SM-S916U1 using Tapatalk
Transplant from Japan from around 100 years ago. They thrive in the water. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Just had another one bugle 3 times, about 100 yards on the other side of me. At least im in the middle. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
I’m set up for the afternoon. Since it’s only going to be 73 this afternoon I decided to get out and sit the moon underfoot period from 2:30-4:30. It’ll be a five hour sit. Not sure if I want to shoot a doe here. There is serious buck sign. @virginiashadow - I’m in the big white oak I chose overlooking that scrape. Also found these next to each other walking in. They’re new.
Just had my first sighting from the tree. A sika hind just walked behind me about 50 yards. Just barely saw her going from one patch of frag, to another. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Running late, but in the tree. Hoping the bit of wind and lead rushing along with some heavy machinery and chain sawing helped offset my noise.
Nice, almost unbelievable lol Mike and I were just trading sika stories earlier today.....so many mishaps down in that marsh!
I’m up, been here for a half hour or so. Was setting up and a doe and twins came in. Bucks only tonight here since the numbers are down. The spot has it all, plot, mock scrape, and water. Also on a ridge top flat. I will also shoot a bear if one shows itself. Good luck everyone
I'm legal, bought 4 tags and my habitat stamp after work. Original plan was to try to get out of work at 11am and go hang a stand. Wasn't able to happen so bought tags instead. Going to set an alarm and see how I feel in the morning, pretty sore and tired right now.
