Way to go Chris and Shawn....but more thanks to Shawn.

He was kind enough to share some deer blood!

I appreciate the blood, but really need to see some in person. I'm headed out in the am.

    Salmon fished this morning.

Unfortunately Brett went home after the morning sit. I took this afternoon off and have a doctor’s appointment in Cape Girardeau tomorrow morning.

We sure did find some great sign scouting yesterday. I wish Brett could have stayed another day or two. This 3rd quarter moon should be great.

I almost killed a good one tonight, had em at 70yds. I’ll adjust and keep after it. Pretty pumped the plan almost came together and I haven’t stepped foot on the property since last October. Ton of sign on this bench.

Thanks for pleasantries , @tdk5525 I too enjoy blood pics.

I got lucky she turn as I shot went high and back and out the rear. But I saw blood instantly and a lot of it It was a quick recovery real easy to follow.

    Congrats to the killers!

not a tree but equally as funny/impressive. This was from 2016 down on the shore Sika hunting with an outfitter. It was right at last light on our last night there. Hunting out of a ground blind by a feeder. I took a shot a spike stag and heard the craziest metallic sound you can imagine lol buried a VPA head in the feeder leg that was apparently right in front of his vitals..... IMG_3392.jpeg

Friday morning looks like we may be getting our first frost but unfortunately I won't be in the stand. Have to take care of the doe in the morning and then I've got a couple pans in the fire I have to take care of as well. My next hunts will probably be Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning.
