a buddy wanted to fill his bow tag as season is winding down. i agree'd to push some bush to him. so i drive the 30 miles to get him and when i got there, he remembered his bow was in his truck that was in the mechanics shop. another 30 miles away.
i had mine at the cabin 2 miles away and since it was REAL COLD out, he said the hell with it, he'd push the bush to me
(legal in MN). i no sooner got set up and seen a doe n fawn 30 yards away browsing my way. they had no idea i was there and were just on a natural route, not being pushed. he had not even started the drive yet.
had a small buck come through at about 8 yards but the tag was filled.
