Yeah, I'm thinking about it! I turkey hunt there and saw deer every time I went, it's really nice there too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So would this public land be worth it for an out of stater to drive 12 hours? I'm making a game plan for next year. Sick of hunting in New England. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
take your stuff in and out. likely to be stolen by morning if you are on public. last year buddy of mine lost everything.
Swamp, if you want to drive 24 hours there are LOTS of public places to hunt in Missouri. If you make that trip do it before gun season. That is a national holiday here. Once the orange army hits, the deer go in to panic mode!!
Checking in from a tree in Bama on some hardwood ridges that's dropping acorns like crazy. Got a few rubs and a bunch of sign where they have been feeding. Going into work later this morning so this is going to be a pretty quick hunt. Hunt #3
Good morning, live from Pa. 34 degrees and windy 10-15 miles an hr. Deer should move I hope. Fingers are cold, time to put phone away
In the ground blind in NJ. No wind, finally. The last couple days it would blow you out of the tree. Yesterday afternoon I was ground hunting and I had a deer walk right up behind me. It watched me for ten min then took a couple bounds away from me, watched me another ten minutes and then took off for good. Never did see what it was. Nothing this morning so far. Sit and wait and see what happens.
Didn't even get set up 5 minutes ago and had a unknown buck cruise by. Couldn't tell size real good. Hopefully he will cruise back through. Sitting on the edge of some mountain laurel. Gotta go he's coming.
Crap! 4pt. Came right under my stand. Awesome encounter. Needs to be ten times bigger. He had his head to the ground and never stopped. It's on boys!
