On the edge of a cut corn piece this morning. Trying some late morning hunting. When most guys are leaving the woods. Saw a doe on the way in. Good sign. They are on their feet.
Rained on and off and little breezy. Saw around 12 turkeys. Was tempted to let one fly at 40yds. Then I remember how much broadheads cost.
Finishing up at work, then headed out for an afternoon sit. Wife drives the highway by my lease on her way home from work, said she seen 3 dead does, and 2 bucks almost hit by cars...guessing that means they may be moving, at least in the mornings.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm getting ready to head out. It had been about 3 weeks since I had checked the camera by my favorite stand but as of 10 days ago, the nice 9 we have been after was still around. Hopefully the cool weather has him moving tonight. We have been seeing young bucks chasing doe for about the last week.
Well, weather people got it wrong. Supposed to be a reduction in wind but I'm out here in 30-40mph gusts in western NJ. Didn't get in a tree. Hunting on the ground. Hopefully the wind will die down and the deer will move.

Been in the stand since about 130ish. Jumped a huge doe right next to me on the way in... Still a little breezy here in eastern MA but much cooler than last week
