Of course, like usual, 2 of the coldest days of the month and I'm stuck working both of them...don't have a day off till Tuesday, so may get out Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning...have a 4 day weekend through Halloween but supposed to warm back up to the 70s....just can't catch a break with the weather so far this year.... 42deg here haven't been the stand more that 20min and had a bunch of pigs come threw all in range just to dark. By the way I hate pigs. Good luck guys!
OK seeing as I always miss These late October cold fronts. Can someone help me understand this LOL. When I was leaving the house the weatherman said the cold front is coming through and the temperatures will really start to drop around one or two in the afternoon. I'm in 5-D (Montco & Delco). With this wind, I didn't go out this morning, but I'll be heading in to check cams. The wind should make it a low impact entry. I'm hunting all next week.
First time in this spot. 37 degrees no wind. Another hunter is coughing and hacking and choking on something. And he couldn't find his stand this AM. He got out his flashlight and shined it around and up in all the trees. Should be a productive morning. BHOD
Uh I'm sick to my stomach, made a great shot but I barely got any penetration, 7 inches maybe no blood yet I only looked about 20 yards back up in the stand going to let her sit for awhile, I know the shot was good it went in right behind the shoulder, worst feeling ever now, in for a long wait and then track, she's gotta be down though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
