I hpoe it cools off soon. This heat sucks. I walk 1.8 miles in with a pack and stand. That is uncool for a fat guy in this heat.
It's 73 degrees here. Should I hunt an apple orchard, bean field or bottle neck? Sent from a piece of paper, tied to a rock.
Haven't made it out - it's been so hot. I had very little on my trail cams (Makes me worry neighbors might have taken the small bucks) though, friends property 20 miles away, 3 new bucks have emerged on his cams.... I might have to help him by shooting one of his 7 hog bucks he has on cam.
Hotter than heck.. climb up got my cam arm and cam set.. started to pull my bow up and it got flipped around and caught the release for my quiver. Climb back down go to put it back on and the slide lock has come off.. need a screwdriver to put it back on... tie the quiver to my back and climb back up. All set now but it's too hot for that crap to happen. Lol Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
It's 5:15 here. Another hunter just came in 45 min after me and to avoid my tree stand he went through heavy foliage and bumped two bucks out of their bed couple hundred yards in front of me. They took off at a dead sprint but what are the odds they could still come back my way?
In my car, heading To my public land spot! Very warm 66°. Perfect wind. I've decided against going to my original spot. That buck is not going to be moving during daylight hours, when there is sent of at least three hunters in his area. Instead I'm going to my new spot that I found on the shelf on a hillside. Really wasn't planning on hunting, but with a 40* drop in temps over the last 2 days, figured it might be a good morning...getting ready to head to my leases now... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
