3rd weekend since opening in East Texas. I have a lot of deer feeding at night here and a nice 8 point. Still hot but nothing but a great view from the tree. We're expecting a "cold front" next weekend so I'm hoping for more activity. I went and scouted a new spot near a creek bottom and found a huge rub on a cedar tree. I'll be setting up a pop up near that spot.

I agree guys... 100%! But he is 4 and I dont know how long he can go without seeing a deer! A half a dozen sits or so and he has yet to see a deer from stand. The cam in front of the buddy stand had deer on it just before dark... YESTERDAY! lol I dont know how long I can keep telling him we will see deer and him still believe in me! :lmao2:

When our oldest was 4 I could keep him in the blind until the battery on the tablet died. It didn't matter if we were seeing deer or not. Squirrel!!!

Warm here too, but it's October and archery season so I sit in a tree 20 feet up

Took the afternoon off from work to sit tonight. Weekend was 80+ degrees with today's high of 65. Had a lot of daytime activity here with does so if I see one it's getting an arrow.

Good luck! We are getting that warm weather right now.

I have Wednesdays off from school, was thinking about heading out in the morning, to go after the buck in my original spot.....it's public land, I guess it's all fair right?

Sitting in a tree in NY, and it's a warm one. New spot for the year, lots of logging over the summer so I guess we will see how much it effects the travel. Would love yo see a bear, had one at 70 yrds last year from this top.

Haven't gotten out nearly as much as normal and have yet to see a deer from the stand. Have not hunted my private land once yet though so it should be ready to rock Friday night and Saturday morning when I make my first sits.

Halloween weekend will mark my first sit and participation in here.

Set a record high temp today, there's been a few cool days the past couple weeks but just not feeling like deer season just yet.

I will be in a stand for an all day sit Halloween day, then start vacation on the 4th through the 13th.

haven't been out a lot lately. decided to go king salmon fishing til last week in October. way too much feed in the woods this year. the deer aren't moving at all. heck they are probably feeding in their bed without even standing up.

Weather is going to cool off here the next couple of days. Might be able to get out after work one night.

    Good Luck everyone.

I was up at 4:30 this morning, sacrificed a morning sit to take a buddy of mine to the airport to fly home for his brothers wedding, let's hope that good deed brings me some luck tomorrow!
