Tuesday, and Ill be in my summit too, love those stands

 

Uncle saw a nice buck this morning by a standing corn field. The buck was about to cross the road to a bedding area. Sitting in a stand by that corn field tonight. Let's hope he comes back tonight

Trying a new stand tonight, kind of windy but it's cooler so we will see what happens, if nothing tonight will be back in the AM. Good luck to everyone tonight.

 

Sitting in a new spot I set a stand in...bedding area on one side and field on the other.....wind is a bit more than I would like and it's swirling at times but I'm hoping this spot proves to be as good as it looks...good luck fellas

Plans changed for today and I got home from work and was told I should go hunting. Didn't have to tell me twice. Sitting back on the soybeans with three fresh mock scrapes. We'll see how it goes.

Just blew a shot at a yote.. he came trotting up behind me fast and I made a noise reaching for my bow too quick

let's all remember that the week of oct. 15 last year a lot of guys shot big bucks on scrapes. it was actually a bit early last year for some reason. this year I'm hunting the scrapes starting tomorrow til the rut really kicks in then i'll move to the pinch points and doe bedding areas.

 

saw some scrapes tonight. no deer though. I hope it cools off for good here soon in the Midwest.

 

Missed my first shot with a bow tonight. Shot under her. Arrow retrieved and no blood. At least it was a clean miss.
