It's a sad day. It may be the first day of 2017, but it's the final day of archery season. While not my best bow season, it has been fun. Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
went out scouting today and found a couple more good spots. ill give them a couple days before I hunt them. I know there has been good buck taken out of these spots in years past so might be good. cameras will tell me when I go back. I also had a three new small bucks show up on camera in the acorns. this tells me the winter migrations are starting. luckily there are plenty of acorns to last the rest of season.
Well we found him. Her first deer ever. He wasn't 15 yards from the arrow. Turns out he doubled back after the shot. She hit him perfect and the reason there wasn't lots of blood is because the broadhead went through both sides of the rib cage but it rode down his front leg and out at the first joint. So while it went through the deer there was only one hole on the torso.
