I hunt 5-D late season, but I'm not sure how much I can hunt this year because of my Pop's failing health though. I usually have to put in a bunch of hours just to kill a doe, so I don't even expect to see a buck late season. lol
I guess there is still some of the old Christmas spirit left in this world. It's refreshing. Stay warm!

Hey guys. I can barely type my fingers are frozen. I shot this buck earlier in one of our small foodplots. It's funny, I was getting on here to check in and I looked up and here he comes. I knew right away who it was. I got my bow, and waited. He gave me a perfect broadside 20 yard shot. I smoked him too! He ran 100 yards and crashed. He barely bled any. Just pin drops from his mouth. This is the 11 pointer I have been hunting when we can get out of state for the weekends. I hope to get some better picture tomorrow. I'm so pumped, it's unbelievable. I'm humbled beyond belief, and lost for words. I will post the story in its fullness when my adrenaline calms a bit. Sent from a piece of paper, tied to a rock.
Remember this season Shane, and maybe go buy a couple lottery tickets too. As for me, I managed to score on a couple of sharptail grouse for the first time in my life. Since deer season is over I have been hanging out by the river hoping for a chance at some geese or maybe a pheasant or two. Forgot to say, congrats on another nice buck.
