Dang man, that's crazy! Glad you're alright. I bet that was a helpless feeling, no where to go sitting in a tree.
That's insane Brad glad your all good!!! So it's 60 degrees right now dropping 20 degrees until first light I'll be headed out to the climber on a different farm than I've been hunting, found a good spot with lots of trails but this farm is always hit or miss, I'll take buck or doe not picky!! Just really want to get my confidence back up after the season I've had Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I contemplated jumping, but that wouldn't have worked with my safety harness on... then just would have been dangling and hit by tree if it fell.
My buddy has had a rough season so far.....up until today! Guy is two weeks post op from knee surgery and just arrowed a great 8 pointer. His hocks were real dark....man I am so happy for him.
My friend's buck from this afternoon. The guy missed a giant about 2 weeks ago, then had knee surgery the next day. He was so bummed and down and out, but he never quit.
Holy cow man that would make anybody thank the man upstairs. I honestly think about that all the time, we don't have any real big wooded areas on the farm I hunt and that happens a hand full of time or more a year. Mostly just about the time we put uo a new section of fence for cows ha. Glad your alright tho. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Gonna try my best to get out there in the morning, but have to be honest. It has been getting harder and harder to get myself out of bed before 3:30am anymore. Colder temps don't help the matter much either. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Sighted in to 50, would never have a shot past that. Have heard of people taking successful shots to 75-100yds. I wouldn't try that far of a shot without a good rest
Not trying to bring this thread down at all. I had plans of being in the stand tomorrow for the first day of our 2 week managed hunt. I got the call night before last that my grandma had passed away. She was 96 years old. All is good. She is in a much better place now. I'll be back at it bright and early Sunday morning.
Good luck to ya'll today. Working today and then headed up north to help my nephew get his first deer. It's muzzleloader season in MI.
