    I'll probably be out Friday with a hand cannon, then a big arctic blast set to sweep the US around Dec. 8th, may try to get out that weekend if winds aren't gusting to 50mph.

    Other than that after this weekends gun season doubt I make it out until snow is on the ground or at least falling.

    i'll be posting again when I go out with the bow. I don't want to post on here when I'm out with the gun. it's to embarrassing to admit I'm carrying that god awful heavy thing. i'll be out everyday when our late season starts.

    I wanted to get in the stand in the morning but the thunderstorms and 30 mph winds might put a stop to that...I will hunt in the rain but I can't do the lightning.

    I can see some turkeys sillohetted in a tree right beside me. They are starting to cluck so I expect them to fly down at any moment. Life is grand for a bowhunter.

    Just had 5 does pass by. Man were they nervous. Guess I'd be nervous too if I had been shot at for two weeks. At least I'm seeing them. I had four does about an hour ago.
