Not much deer movement this morning. Had a little guy come by as the sun was coming up but that's it. Off to work for a few hours, then back in the blind this afternoon.

Thanks for the luck wishing. No sign this morning. Gonna sit all day. Then that's pretty much it for me this year.

Ya I know, but I just wish, one at least one, doe or buck, yearling or elder, would come by. I've been hunting for 3 yrs now and only ever seen the one.

I pray to God and St. Hubert every morning to bring a deer in my general direction, and nothing.

My dad and I are sitting out until the weekend. There just isn't enough time after work anymore to give it a good effort. About 40 minutes is all we get until legal shooting is over.

We spooked quite a few out of the fields coming out over the weekend so we are hoping to let them relax and get comfortable again. This coming Sunday is the last day for our unit so I'm hoping for one more chance at send an arrow at one.

Work has gotten in the way. We have a 2 week managed hunt at one of the local county parks that starts this Saturday. I'll be back on here.

In the blind for this evenings sit. Bumped a doe just as I was walking from the truck, so maybe they will be on their feet tonight. She was about 300 yds from my spot so no worries. 55 degrees and wind out of the NW at about 5mph. Perfect conditions for this spot. It's so quiet I can hear the squirrel in front of me chewing...:-)

I still stalk this thread most days. Lol

My daughter turns 7 tomorrow and she wants to go hunting with me. So I will be sitting in the woods for a couple of hours tomorrow with a gun.
