That was my whole plan. I planned on shooting this doe that is ruining most of my hunts. It was a perfect night!! Weather was great light winds. No deer. I pulled the camera card. After switching clothes I backed out of the drive. 3 lots to the west was a truck that hasn't been there any this season. My guess he is just starting to hunt or was just walking around. Either way, no deer.

Glad your girlfriend was alright brad!!

Well that was fun. I got trapped in my tree with 7-10 deer around me. Had a small basket rack 8 under me and then it seemed like deer came from every direction. I was hunting a cut corn field. Glad I wasn't Black Friday shopping.

glad she is ok brad! that is exactly why I make sure my family is no longer in any crowded areas. if there is any kind of a crowd we are out of there.

i'll be back posting my hunts on here when our season picks back up. I'm hoping to get out with the bow during our Halloween hunting season next week.

Turns out it was gang related, 2 shot, 2 in custody. I guess that even thugs have to Christmas shop. Just plain stupid.

Attending funeral this morning then be back in the woods for the first time in 8-10 days.
Laying one of my good friends and neighbor to rest today. Guy was the age of my dad but he taught me so much from framing, drywall and running plumbing and electric to how to brew beer. He was one of the most caring and giving individuals I will ever know.

Just had a fawn come up and sniff my tree step. Also heard a grunt down in the bottom, but that could be another hunter
