Passed on a nice 8/10. Dad had a doe come thru brush and shot, ended up getting a deflection, and a big 10 was behind it that he never saw nor got a shot at. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I cheated last night and took the 'ol .270 out hunting with my brother in law. First time using a rifle in 3 years and I blew a chance at a really nice buck. He came out chasing a doe and I was trying so hard to get a range on him that by the time I did and got my gun up the doe went the other direction and he was gone. Had him at 125 yds broadside for about 10 seconds... Kicking myself for not ranging trees and such in the area before hand, should've been a dead deer. Might be able to sneak off this afternoon and go back after him having learned a valuable lesson. Happy Thanksgiving fellas and good luck to anyone out in the woods today!
