Good luck Adam...I'm just being selfish wanting you to go get him. Haha. I'll be back at work tonight...in 20 degree temps. Ughhh. Need a good buck story to help me make it through the night.

That's why I always have an aspirin bottle full of reflective tacks. Just tack your way in, and you can always pull them as you leave.
I do this sometimes just walking into a spot to hunt on the fly. I hunt 1 very remote spot that if I got turned around, I could be walking for days. I've almost gotten lost tracking a few times, never again, it's not a good feeling.
    Good luck in the morning!

This....when i was 15 and weighed about 100 lbs . I dragged a 150 lb buck half of mile the wrong way because I got turned around. I always mark my way in now.....

Definitely going to start using one of these tactics, should have been prepared tonight but I think he'll be okay I only have one or two videos of coyotes this year. And I haven't been hearing them in the mornings

I'd definitely wait it out if that's the case. It's pretty easy to get turned around in dark, especially when your looking down for blood most of time. Happens to me on farm I hunt sometimes and I've been on every inch of that and most of neighbors whole life.

    Good luck looking tomorrow.

I would be back out there if it was me. I do the tp thing too when tracking.. just in case I lose blood I can go back to the last spot.

Way to go Adam! You've put in your time in the tree man, glad to see you get rewarded. Can't wait to hear the story and see the pics of that buck in the morning!
