I didn't see anything this morning. Heard several shots around me, but nothing for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ended up only seeing the 2 doe early this morning. Headed in around 10 to warm up. Lots of shots all morning all around but I never had a opportunity. Idk what the heck the neighbor was doing, they either can't hit anything or have lots of tags. Only 2 or 3 guys hunting over there and had to have gone through 10 boxes of shells. Oh well I'll be back out after lunch. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Missed a big one this morning. Clipped a dang limb I didn't see and deflected my arrow down just underneath the buck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Out with the orange army. My scope broke last weekend. Upgraded and put a 3x9x40 Leopold VX1 on the 12 gauge....DIALED IN!
I just set down in the stand 5 minutes ago. I've only been here one other time. Took forever to get to the stand and wouldn't ya know I wore too many clothes. It's been one of those days.
I think I got it done boys, 5:05 shot a nice buck I believe it is either my target buck chip or this new buck that showed up on camera who's name is checkmate! 30 yard shot was lower than I wanted but looked like I got low lung and heart, arrow stuck in him he jumped a little ran out to the corn came back in the woods and stopped I was praying that he would go down right there he stopped for about 15-20 seconds and then ran off, saw the nockturnal sticking out of him. Called dad and he headed over across the field. I got down after 30 minutes to check the impact spot and found this . Not the best blood but it was alright followed it the 20 yards out to the field and found where he went back into the woods. The blood was looking really good at this point . He crossed over a little dry creek bed about 40 yards into the track continued to follow blood like this for about 70 yards. Found this . We backed out not because of blood getting thin just because we are not very familiar with this woods and didn't want to get lost at night, in pretty sure he is dead. What do you guys think? Good call to back out ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Unfortunately I don't have a gps and my phone never has service out there or else I would be out there, I get turned around out there in the light so I think this is best and just in case I only got one lung or something if he's dead he'll be there in the morning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
