Well I didn't see crap. Someone popped a shot off at 5:45 am out in the field this morning it was 30 minutes before shooting time. The moon was so bright I guess they thought what the heck.

That's why I stayed in this morning. It was really gusting then. Not "as" bad now but occasionally it gives me a ride in this hedge tree.
Man they just started moving really well and I had to leave the woods an hour and a half before sundown.
Dan I was close today. I had two bucks move past me in one hour. That was the first time I had seen that for weeks. I haven't drank alcohol for like 6 weeks to keep my strength up to keep hunting hard. Much like many of you guys I'm extremely busy. I'm drinking a few tonight.

Well, today sucked. I got a text from the ex wife while sitting in the tree that instead of my normal 2 hours ride to pick up the kids and 2 hours back that I had to drive 4 hours up to pick them up and 4 back. Well, about 4 minutes later my Buck stepped out and i had to let him walk because there was no way if I shot him I would have time to recover him and get him to the processor. My kids are more important, but it just sucks that I've spent all that time and I had him at 22 yards broadside for like 3 minutes and couldn't do a thing about it. At least I got to see him while in a stand and he didn't bust me, so there is that......Oh well, good luck this afternoon fellars.
That's tough man, but family is definitely more important than any deer. I couldn't take sitting at home anymore so grabbed the 12 gauge and gonna check few spots.
