OK I'm sick of this crap... I'm gonna go on a rant here........ If you want to be a part of the the "live from the stand thread" by all means please do so. HOWEVER...be considerate of others when you say you shot something,you tell everyone on the thread for some cool points or "atta-boys" and "pats on the back" BUT then leave everyone hanging for hours waiting for pictures? not cool. phone low on battery? conveniently, it still had enough for your previous post of seeing squirrels. LOL!!!!!!!! Or..... if your the cool guy who comes on here and says "in the tree, just saw a doe"...or whatever a deer....but then all of the sudden you become such a super-pro hunter, that when you shoot a deer...you cant tell anyone on here except for texting a few people in your circle. Then a few hours later a thread is posted saying "i got a text" and we all have to play the guessing game.
I just heard the most god awful racket. I turned to see squirrels running. Sounded like the neighbor 2 properties over knocked a bunch of metal stuff over. Good, he just started the tractor back up.

Joe your never in the cool kids circle are you? Haha After sitting in the edge of a feild under a shade tree I finally made it to stand bout 30 mins ago. Shoulda went with my gut and went straight out from work. 4 doe standing in feild blocking me from getting here. They finally moved on and got to finish walking in. Sorry guys. My phone died and I was at the neighbor's house. We got him caped, hung and skinned. This is probably my biggest buck with a bow and I'm thrilled. I saw him 2 days in a row and today I was able to make it happen. I grunted, and he circled around and came in, giving me an 8 yard shot. He was quartering away, so the entry was back, but I got both lungs. He ran 30 yards and piled up. He was dead within a minute. I am super proud, and still shaking. I'm tagged out here in IL, so now it's on to Wisconsin.
Nothing. He looked all day yesterday and didn't find a single drop of blood from the last bit we found that night. It's really driving me nuts. I just want to know what happened. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
