Back in same tree that saw all the action out of on Monday evening
Already had a doe and a button buck come out of the thick and move around for about 30 mins and then head back into the thicket

This rut started slow then picked up good. Now slowing down again. Lock down starting im afraid. Im not even seeing small bucks now. Why the heck is that buck sleeping? He should only have one thing on his mind!

It wouldn't surprise me if some bucks are on lockdown already with an early doe.

Someone on here a few days ago watched a big buck top a doe in front of his stand. Just no midday movement anymore.

Sun hasn't been out all day, but it comes out as soon as I sit in a West facing stand.

First time posting in the 2016 Live from the Stand thread actually being in a tree. Already had a young 6 walk by at 25 yards. He would have had major ground shrinkage but it was good practice.

That was me, I watched it last Saturday at 11:30. Only seen 1 other buck since then running around mid day.

I'm in a ground blind where I typically see most of my doe movement. Between the time change and bad wind directions, it's been left alone for about a week.

They've already scoured your area, found any hot does, bred and have moved on. they will be back when the other does in the area are hot....IMO
