Then again, that buck probably ran up to 20 yards from her, bred the 3 does, and left while she was looking up crap on Pinterest.

Isn't it a bit early for you there? Just curious usually for me in the NE corner is jam up around the 20th.

But I did have a BB trying to mount a doe on Sunday.

It's prerut here, so the Lil ones are getting in when they can, but I have two does that I know have been hot so far so I guess maybe not since that's going on.

I'm headed to the house. Nothing else and not sure about if I can tomorrow.

Wow after that little buck early and some turkeys I saw nothing. I did have the turkeys scare the $hit out of me when they went to roost they flew right passed me and into the tree behind me.

Wish me luck. I'm leaving Quincy, IL making the 2.5 hour drive home. I'm in my work truck so anything can happen on the way home. Lots of headless deer on the roads

Keep grinding. Many years I've hunted two weeks straight to get a buck. I am going to keep hammering and I know you will do the same.

Man oh man - Maine has a long way to go, we have to buy our tags one by one antlered or antlerless. On top of that our bow season is a whopping month, expanded (very select areas) Sept 10 to Dec 10.
