Here it is 70 degrees in November. I was walking to my stand over looking a long narrow food plot that is lined with scrapes and there were already two does in the plot. We had quite the stare down and they bounded off thankfully they didn't blow. Hopefully thats a good sign of movement even with this heat.

Finally caught up from page 276.

Thanks everyone, and a little clarification. Didn't mean to not post pics, but where I am hunting the only way to get a signal is to be elevated and not touching my phone. I leterqlly have to turn on and off airplane mode while resting the phone on seat or whatnot. Even then as soon as I hit send it oftens goes onto edge network and won't do anything but buffer. Sending a pic is hit or miss, too large of a file and it won't send at all. Had to post up pics from the truck a mile or so down the road.

To post updates I would have had to climb up and down the stand. Getting selfie contest pics was a task in itself. Decided to dress him out with my Case lockblade rather than walk back up and get proper stuff and come back even more exhausted.

The 12% battery comment was supposed to be funny, in reference to Twitch's battery post yesterday

He's at the processor, taxi is picking him up from there and I'll get him back sometime near Spring I imagine.

Oh yeah, on the way back his leg tag blew off. Had to stop by DNR on the way, get a reprinted tag for $3.

While there I picked up another buck tag, so I'll be back out hopefully tomorrow or Wed. for sure as the high pressure moves in.

Please tell me this was a public land buck near Springfield. I'll be hunting up there next year if I don't find a spot by then. My neighbor killed 2 bucks on one of the public lands 3 years ago one was 180" and the other was a 120" hebshot the first 120" on a Friday morning and shot the big one the next morning in the same spot on foot both times.

He wouldn't share where he shot them and he's since moved

In all fairness, he wasn't alone in that shower, so he wasn't thinking with a clear head....

Tho the other person getting in that shower would have been a much better choice of photos to share...

I mean it is customary to post a pic of the trophy you tag.

This was private in Morgan Co. just outside of Jacksonville.

You talking about Sangchris or Jim Edgar Panther Creek?

Both are public and hold plenty of deer, JEPC is like 15k acres and has some big deer on it. I've never hunted Sangchris
