    Rattled something out of the woods , heard him crashing through the woods , loud as hell, into the field I'm in but behind pine trees so can't see him yet,

    I think the small game hunter to my west that has now popped off about 4 shots was the reason the deer were moving...I'll sit til noon then I'm gonna get a warm meal. TBD on relocating.

    Was going to go out this morning but forgot to set my alarm. Kinda glad I didn't go. At 7 my dad informed me that my great uncle/fill in grandpa died this morning at 630. He's no longer suffering from Parkinson's so I'm thankful for that. Wish I could fly to Maryland to be with the family.

    Headed out now to trail my friends wife's deer she sit at 8.

    So far the highlight of my morning is seeing a hawk grab a squirrel. Which is actually pretty cool. But I would like to at least see a deer this morning.

    Had a doe come into the corn field and stopped. Her mouth was wide open. Thought for sure there would be a buck on her *** but she must have lost him.
