I've had a few close calls working the rails, probably closest was a quick pop up storm that came through, I was about 30-40 cars from the engine so I just hung out under an overpass, hit right on top of the over pass...the only other super close one was an elevator we switch, lightning hit the rod on top of one of the bins while we were pulling cars off the track right beside it...just super loud and blindingly bright...

Yup... debating on moving midday. I think I might. This is to painful. Such a great day weatherwise. Overcast 38 degrees 7 mph west wind.

Had one unknown move through behind 20 min before light. Dark blob walking. Nothing since, glad I witnesses yesterday.

Maybe it is quality over quantity today

Wow, just had a borderline, very nice 8 point broadside at 7 yards. I think he's a 2.5, and I just couldn't do it!
I put out a tarsal from last year, he was destroying a sapling and came right to it.
Had me a bit shook up and he never knew I was here. Cool encounter!

Seen low and wide 8 a six that hung out looking over the bushes for an hr for the same does as I was. A spike. They went s. To my son he must have seen the 8 and grunted. A pile of 4 pointers came out of wood work then wow. Then a 3x2. That's all in hr and forty min. Besides boy jumping out of his skin when a coon brushed up against him walking in lol
