2 does just came out across the field. Bucks should be coming out soon!

Three coyotes went into the bedding area a little before 6 and screwed everything up. Tried lip squeaking but they weren't interested. Damn..

I haven't shook like that on a buck ever. After he went into the field I ranged him. He was at 72 yards. Almost shed a tear watching him walk away.

At least I got to watch him for 30 minutes. This is why I hunt.

If this holds true, I'll be like a pig in sh*t!

    Tonight
Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 44. North northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

    Friday
Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 65. Light east northeast wind.

Love foggy mornings in the bottoms and that wind is absolutely perfect. See ya in the AM!

Lost both arrows I shot at the coyote. Was hoping the lighted nocks would be visible. Going to go back after work and look for them

Well, no luck tonight. Saw 1 small buck, a couple does and fawns about 400yds out pretty early. Coyote spooked them. Had a doe with 2 fawns come by my stand about sundown but that's it. Rattled and grunted just a little bit but no luck. I think it's still a little early for that here. Oh well, you never know if ya don't try...

I didn't see anything tonight. Farmer was shelling corn behind me all evening. Finished right before the sun went down. He kept texting me saying 3 does were on the way, but they never showed up.

I saw a ton of gray squirrels. Time for some small grame heads and practice my long range shooting skills. They are driving me nuts.

Seen a 3yo tall10pt chasing a doe tonight. Popped out at 40 yards and turned the wrong direction. She apparently didn't read the script. He was good looking stud.
