My sits have been so uneventful lately I keep singing this go myself. .."wasting away in margarittaville......."
Well guys its been slow for me the ladt couple of days. Trying to find deer since they vanished. Too much feed they dont have to move. So i came in to a spot i hunted last year and hung my stand in the dark. I hate doing that but no choice. Overlooking a five yr old clearcut. Hopefully this run and gun works. Happy november everyone!

Finally a wind so I can hunt my favorite stand Hardwood flat with thicket to south and east and more hardwoods to the west and thicket transitioning to hardwoods to north Already seen more deer today than in last 10 sits 2 does at first light Good luck everyone who is out today! November 1st, 39 degrees, frost, and I'm sitting in traffic on my way to work. I think there is a saying... "a day of hunting and seeing no deer is better than dealing with idiots at work" Pretty sure I saw that once
Running late headed into public land this morning , alarm didn't wake me up, gonna have to be extra quite going in today
Good to see some deer going down, congrats! Decent sit last evening, more buck activity. Nothing so far except some wood ducks and an eagle. If they get all the corn off I may have to put the decoy out tonight.
Couldn't go out this morning. Have to quarter this deer up before it gets too warm. Really want to go out this afternoon, but I also have to prepare for the trip to OH. Good luck guys.
