I've never seen a deer after using buck bomb. So there for I don't trust it. I used to use buck scent and had luck years back, nowadays I don't use anything but doe in heat.

The bucks will have to work harder. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Didn't have service in the woods. Looked for 3.5 hours. Found blood after 1.5 hours. Followed it 75 yards good news heading back into our land. Back at it first light.

Yes I am headed to the stand with you. It is 65°, maybe I should have went to the gym instead. But offered a new piece of land that I think has been untouched this year so here goes a shot in the dark. No scouting hunting somebody else to stand, with permission of course

Getting ready to walk in. Gonna try to stay off here today because the spot I'm going to, they are on you quick and it's important to really pay attention and see them coming. Good luck to all who are out. Be safe everyone.

    Blessings..........Pastorjim

    Good luck this morning!

It's 28° here. First hard frost of the year, dead calm, and I should be in my tree stand! Heading to class instead.

This is one of my weirder set ups. Told myself this year I'd change it up the first week of November bc I've struggled with seeing good bucks then. Once the 7th or 8th hits I can usually key in on the beds. Working a little hub leading to south wind bedding spots.

Well no hunt for me this morning. Got ready to walk in and I discovered my pack, which I thought was in the tote, is actually at home.........over an hour away! What a dummy I am. My release is in the pack so I'm done. I guess I'll just sit here till daylight and then check cameras. I can't believe I did that.

    Blessings..........Pastorjim

Well Jim, they say things happen for a reason. Sometimes figuring out the reason is the hard part................ Hopefully there is some good news on the cameras.

I posted this without reading Swamps previous post. Oops.
