This will be my last night on the stand until next weekend. Going to warm back up again starting tomorrow.
The squirrels are killing me tonight. Not a single one is running or hopping around. They are all on a slow walk that sounds just like a single deer walking slowly through the woods.

Tomorrows forecast high continues to drop. 3 days ago was supposed to get up to 81, now saying 70 degrees. Tonights low is 48. Never shot a deer on Halloween, hoping to change that tomorrow

Geese are honking like mad. They won't stop. I've never been so compelled to arrow one of these feathered pests. This is just maddening.
Omg a tree rat just fell out of either the top of the tree I'm in or the one next to me! I heard crashing threw the limbs and thought "great I'm gonna get knocked out of the tree by a limb" when the squirrel goes flying by on his way to the ground. Scared the crap out of me and is also one of the funniest things I've ever seen hunting! He had to be in my tree and fell threw the limbs on the tree next to me before flying by me! He zoomed past me about 5' from me. I thought I heard a tiny voice saying "help" I can't confirm that tho... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
82 degrees today. Will be 49 tonight and only a high of 60 tomorrow. I'd say that might start some movement around here. We aren't seeing much of any rutting activity as of yet.
Well was going good seen two six pointers a nice eight chasing does. Then coyotes light up. Look to left doe hiding in honey suckle. Waiting for my chance. 3 bucks a 4 pointer a spike and an 8 cruzing by the 8 comes back for my doe they ran 7 circles around me and never stopped. What a night half hr left just need a doe for the night
so these are screen caps of the 2 bucks that were around pretty much all day...did not respond to any calls or rattling what so ever...necks really do not look swollen at all....
