Day 2! Had an unpleasant surprise yesterday when the landowner informed that there would be no hunting for the next two weeks do to a family fun hunt starting next weekend! I have no problem with landowners doing what they want on their property just didn't like the surprise when I had planned a one week hunting vacation. Oh well, luckily I know an adjoining landowner his property is more of a travel route but it should work out fine, just no tree stand until later today. Good luck today!

Backs at it again in Oklahoma. A little cooler temps this morning with hardly any wind. Can only hint till 9 this morning and then I have to hit the road.
All set up for an all day sit in the summit climber so at least I'll be comfy....took a little longer to get in then I wanted, caught a briar to the ear on the way in and had to get the blood to stop dripping....took my time going up the tree also, first time using the stand this year...also trying out the third hand stabilizing straps for the first time, these things are pretty great, really cinch down the top portion of he stand....still not as cool as I like this time of year, but a 20-25 degree drop from yesterday, 10mph wind, hoping for a good day....good luck everyone.
