I'm out of the woods. Didn't see anything. The scrape line I've been hunting is still active. Hoping this spot pans out like I think it well here in the next week or two.

Congrats! Well I literally got caught in my underwear getting dressed at the bottom of my stand. Getting ready to put my base layers on and a 120 class eight went cruising by at 50 yds. Bummer. I couldn't do anything. Chance he may come back through. He never knew I was here.

Just got set up in my ladder stand. First time using scents..let's hope it pays off.

Also wanna say that I am officially safe in the tree. First time using a harness and it won't be the last. Feels great..I dunno what took me so long.

Time to sit back and enjoy God's creation. Good luck all!

Well, I didn't see any deer but I saw 9 turkeys and 3 were nice gobblers( we don't have a fall turkey season here in GA) and that was the first time seeing turkeys on my Papaws land in about 5 years. I pulled the camera card and I have a new 8 and a new 6. The 8 was fighting the 10 behind a hot doe yesterday morning under my stand. ohhh my luck lol

In the last hour I had a 160 class ten go by out of range and a small six go by.

I'm back on stand sitting a observation stand watching about 300 yards of field edge trying to learn were the deer are coming out. Just had a group of 20 or so turkeys pop out on the far end.

I think scrape phase is winding down in my area. Definitely seeking now. Time to move to the funnels for me.
